Starfish

Early one morning, John found his friend Nick on the beach picking up starfish and throwing them back into the ocean.

"Why are you doing that?" John asked.

Nick replied, "To save them from dying on the dry beach."

Looking around at the thousands of starfish that had washed ashore in the night, John asked Nick if his work was really making any difference.

Nick picked up another starfish and tossed it into the waves.

"It does to that one," he replied.

God has a call on all our lives to make a difference.
